How to Quiet Your AC

A noisy air conditioner can leave you with a lack of rest, concentration and patience. As much as you’d rather shut it down, the weather may be too hot to bear so you’d rather tolerate the noise than have yourself sweating like a pig. Fortunately, with just a few quick step you can quiet your unit and be rewarded with a cool and peaceful home.

Tighten the screws on your air conditioner casing with a screwdriver.
Check the pad or windowsill on which the air conditioner is resting to see if it is on a level surface.
Insert a rolled-up newspaper between one of the corners of the air conditioner and the pad it is resting on to make it stand evenly on its support
