Professional Tips for Staying Cool during the Hot Summer Season

2012 was perhaps the hottest summer season that’s ever recorded in the United States. It’s very likely that 2013 will be the same, and maybe even worse. Whatever the temperature predictions and records will be for the coming season, it’s great to be ready for above-average temperatures that will likely hit the country.

Here are tips from the experts to help you keep your cool this summer:

– Try to reset your schedule by planning your activities accordingly. Temperature peaks at 10:00am to 3:00pm so try to be indoors during these times.

– Wear light colored shirts that reflect heat instead of absorbing it. Change your furniture covers to something light as well.

– Turn off your electronic devices such as lamps, computers, and television sets if you’re not using them. Switch to LEDs if you still haven’t done so.
