Staying Cool Running in Summer

How to Make Sure Your AC Unit Is in Tip-top Shapeven when the weather is hot, we all love to go outside and shape up. But too much heat can lead to dehydration and it could be fatal. It’s always best to do your workout indoor or go running early in the morning or later at night during summer but there are also things that you can do to stay cool while working out during a hot weather.

Always keep an eye on how much water you are drinking. The rule of thumb is to consume 8 oz. of water every one to two hours you’re running or working out. Take as much water breaks to energize yourself and prevent dehydration.

Wearing sunscreen is one of the most important things that you need to have when the sun is too high. If you don’t have one, it is best to wear lightweight long-sleeved shirts and pants. Wearing a hat is also an option.
