The cold weather does not only stop you from enjoying the outdoors but it can also cause damage to your property. To help you deal with ice dams, prevent your pipes from freezing as well as keep your home warm and comfortable, here are some tips.

  • –          Disconnect all gardening hoses and cover all outside faucets.
  • –          Set your thermostat at 68 degrees even if no one is at home.
  • –          Keep cabinet doors open to allow the heat to circulate.
  • –          Seal all the gaps in your doors and windows.
