The Best Time for Air Conditioner Maintenance and Checkup

It’s winter once again, and it’s certainly not the best time to use air conditioners because of the chilly weather. Grab this opportunity to have your unit removed from its spot. This opens a window for checking not only the unit but the location as well.

The most basic task to do is to check the filters. Make sure it’s clean and changed whenever necessary. Reusable filters should be vacuumed and scrubbed for efficiency.

Because you’re probably placing the air conditioner in its cage while it’s winter, don’t forget to check it from time to time. Additionally, check the water tube or drain before turning it on the next season.

Don’t forget to check the windows of the air conditioning unit. Is there any mildew, mold, or moisture buildup? If so, call for an expert to apply the necessary solutions.
