Year-round HVAC Maintenance Pointers
- Spring — change the air filters, clean the coils, and trim branches and plants surrounding the unit.
- Summer — turn the unit on and off properly, check the vents for cool vents, and check condensate-removal system.
- Fall — switch off the A/C breaker, check the humidifier pad, and change the air filters.
- Winter — check for ice or snow around the unit, wipe debris and dirt off the unit, and don’t cover the unit with material that may lock moisture in.
