AC System Can Cause Allergies

According to medical experts, allergies are most prevalent during spring and summer season. While such hypersensitivity is often attributed to pollen from plants, the culprit might just be inside your home.

“Food and skin allergies are on the rise and respiratory allergies are the most common type of allergy affecting children,” according to a report from the CDC published on May 2, 2013.

Mark Masters, president of a professional carpet and duct cleaning company, mentioned that concrete dust, sawdust and pollens are some of the most common items they find in the home duct system. Unfortunately, many of these particulates can cause allergies to children and adult.
