Extreme Weather Events Increased by Climate Change

Typhoon Haiyan, the most powerful in history, devastated the Philippines just three weeks ago. Its destruction is so catastrophic that whatever is at its path is destroyed and even dies.

The string of extreme weather events – unprecedented floods in Sardinia, typhoons in the USA, rains causing floods in Pakistan, and typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines – are all caused by climate changes. What transpired three weeks ago and several months before are becoming frequent and increasing in severity.

Climate change has been contributing to the gravity of these extreme weather events. Moreover, if the world will continue to put a blind eye to this reality, it will be over before we know it.
