Fall season has finally kicked in and some of you may already be firing up those heaters to keep your warm and comfortable. While heating equipment is a must in our homes, it also is one of the leading causes of home fire deaths according to National Fire Prevention Association. Below are some tips on how to keep your family safe in using heating equipment.

–          Check your air conditioning and heating system once a year.

–          Change the filter at least once every month.

–          Inspect your fireplace before you go to bed to make sure fire is completely out.
