Home Winterization Tips

There’s more to home winterization than grooming your heating system and getting it ready to counter the cold weather. Numerous other tasks need to be done, which involve both your home’s interior and exterior, in order to keep you and your family warm and cozy during the chilly season:

  • Regularly change air filters, and perform other heating system maintenance tasks.
  • Upgrade your home’s insulation system, apply weather stripping, and seal gaps and holes around the house.
  • Clean the gutters, ridge vents, check the chimney, and other tasks to prepare your home’s exterior for the cold weather.
