How to Spring-prep Your A/C for the Hot Weather

The months of Spring offer just enough time for homeowners to prep their homes’ A/C systems for the incoming summer. Here are some pointers:
  • Store up on air filters and change them monthly to prevent dirt and dust clogging
  • Trim vegetation around the outdoor unit, and check the drainage hole
  • Examine the ductwork — patch up holes and deal with mildew, mold and dust build ups
  • Before summer even makes a debut, turn the unit on and check if it is working properly
  • Schedule for a professional tune up and inspection with your most trusted contractor
