Installation and Maintenance of Pool Heating Systems

Proper installation of a swimming pool heater is essential to ensure that it runs perfectly and smoothly. In addition, it is an integral part in the process to make sure that no issues would arise that could harm the users of the swimming area.

Having a swimming pool installed in your house is comforting and rewarding. But it also is an additional responsibility for the household. Even so, warm pools are ideal for use in the winter and cold ones in the summer.

To ensure that proper maintenance is done to your pool heaters, remember the following.

  • Gas heaters run on propane tanks or natural gas elements. To make sure utmost maintenance is done, frequently check the gas supply. Check the pipes for any leaks with the use of a soap solution – liquid dish soap mixed with warm water and poured in a spray bottle. If bubbles are emerging, repair the pipes immediately.
  • Electrical pool heating systems use heating elements to work. It is integral to change these regularly or currents will get into the pool. Turn off the power, open the drain, and remove the water before adding a new one.
