Prepare your Air Conditioning Unit for Summer

Prepare your Air Conditioning Unit for SummerAs the real summer waves are about to hit, it is now time to prepare your home air conditioning unit. According to an air conditioning company, majority of the service calls they receive during summer come from people who don’t take precaution with their AC units.

“They need to get their R-22 levels checked, make sure their coils are clean, and just that all motors are running at peak capacity, and that way they can do the best they can to prevent some of the breakdowns we see when it’s 100 degrees outside,” he told KRMG.

Hiring a professional technician will ensure that coils are cleaned, R-22 levels are checked and filters are changed. Regular air conditioning maintenance will also ensure that all the motors in your unit are running efficiently.
