Reducing Energy Use Through CoolNYC Program

Reducing EnergyCoolNYC program, a partnership with ConEd and ThinkEco, focuses on giving cost-effective energy management tips for people with air conditioning units at home. Through the use of a smart outlet in window air conditioner units, New Yorkers will be able to monitor and control their energy use.

There are two ways to control your air conditioning unit with the use of a smart outlet. First, the computer-based software can be used to set a schedule for your air conditioning unit and second, a target temperature can be programmed using the smartAC thermostat.

With the use of smartAC and modlet, you can ensure that your home stays cool without the need to turn on your air conditioning unit all the time.
