Staying Safe During Winter

Winter season can pose serious threat to human safety. That being said, the Orillia Fire Department shares some tips on how you stay safe and protect your family during the cold weather.

  • Check your property and clear any nearby fire hydrants.
  • Inspect your home and make sure your vents are free from snow to keep carbon monoxide out.
  • Clear your roof from snow and ice if your house is not able to handle large amount of snow.
