Cooling systems are no invincible appliances that no problem will ever happen to them. The longer they have been with you, the more they are prone to damages. So, it is integral that you have basic understanding on what these common issues are to help minimize and prevent them.

* A dirty air filter is a very common problem that should not be ignored. The filter is an important part of the system because it ensures no dirt and dust will get through the air conditioner and cause severe problems.

* The condenser coil should be cleaned  as they will be responsible for drawing out the heat from the house especially during summer. Filthy condenser coils bring down the system’s efficiency.

* Damages like lightning and fire can happen and should be avoided. If not, electrical hazards might take place.
