Tips for Practical AC Maintenance

cleaning an AC unit
AC maintenance can be quite a handful. But with the proper methods and with assistance and advice from the right people, homeowners have very little to worry about their systems.
  • When you notice that there might be some issues with your AC system, try to determine which areas of the house are most affected. This can give the technician a better idea on where to start with his inspection.
  • Keep both the inside and the outside of the units clear of dust and debris to prevent them from overheating and malfunctioning. When cleaning, be sure to turn off the power first.
  • Provide extra protection and care for outdoor units which can be more vulnerable to outside elements such as extreme heat or moisture, and dirt and debris.
