Tips on Preparing Your Home for the Cold Weather

The chilly weather brought about by winter can bring numerous problems to our homes. Fortunately, there are also many ways to prepare our homes and counter these problems:
  • Keep your roof, gutters and eves from tearing apart by preventing dirt and debris accumulation that can lead to clogging and freezing.
  • Prevent pipe and faucet freezing through proper insulation, and by shutting faucets and valves off.
  • Move the thermostat level down to 60 degrees if you’re going on a winter getaway.
