Ways to Keep Your Cool while Working in the Garden

Garden activities are oftentimes both tiring and fun. If you’re gardening on summertime, then it could really be difficult to deal with the scorching heat. Lucky for you, there are many ways you can stay cool as you continue doing your gardening activities.

The following are ways to beat the heat while doing your outdoor hobbies.

i. Portable shades – Sun hats or a portable small umbrella that you can place over your head as you move along will protect you from the sun. Big straw hats are ideal for circulating air over your head at the same time shielding you from sunlight.

ii. Fans – They’re battery-operated and are excellent to use on low humidity areas. If your lawn is big enough to cater for a bigger electric fan, you can do so.

iii. Neck coolers – Homemade neck coolers are perfect when doing outdoor activities. You can soak it in cold water every now and then to keep you fresh. There are also readymade neck coolers that you can purchase at nearby stores.
